Welcome
Another Award! Our 2006 Petite Sirah won SILVER in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. (This is the largest American wine competition in the world!)
It also won a gold medal at the World of Wine Festival out of 121 wine entries, (there were only 8 golds awarded).
Carpenter Hill Vineyard is a fourty-two acre family owned and operated vineyard. The vineyard sits on a steep, east-facing slope at the base of the Siskiyou Mountains in southern Oregon.
The combination of warm days, cool evenings and rock slate soil makes for a dark rich and flavorful wine.
The vineyard is planted with Merlot, Syrah, Petite Sirah and Roussanne grapes.
Our Emphasis is to work with small lots of high quality grapes grown only from our estate vineyard. With meticulous attention to detail we strive for distinctive character with focused flavors.

At Carpenter Hill Vineyard we farm using certified LIVE vineyard methods, which bring the best of quality to the grapes as well as the environment.
Specific farming practices are used to keep the yield per vine low. |
